Twelve additional deaths, 517 new COVID-19 cases in ND

The state health department has confirmed twelve more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 357.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Woman in her 90s from Bottineau County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Bottineau County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 80s from Bottineau County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from Bottineau County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Bowman County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 90s from McHenry County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 90s from Morton County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 80s from Mountrail County with underlying health conditions.
  • Man in his 70s from Walsh County with underlying health conditions.  
  • Woman in her 80s from Ward County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 100s from Ward County with underlying health conditions.
  • Woman in her 80s from Williams County with underlying health conditions.

 
Additionally, 517 new individuals from 40 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 28,245.

 

These results were from a pool of 5,4,52 tests for a daily positive rate of 10.13 percent.

723,102 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 261,745 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 158 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 206 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,126 hospitalizations total.

 

There have been 23,289 recoveries. This leaves 4,600 active confirmed cases.
