Two deaths, 147 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed two more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,417.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 70s from Emmons County.
  • Man in his 80s from Cass County. 

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

147 new individuals from 28 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 97,305.

 

These results were from a pool of 6,588 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.58 percent.

 

98 of those positives were PCR tests, and 47 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

·         Benson County – 1

·         Bottineau County – 3

·         Bowman County - 2

·         Burleigh County – 17

·         Cass County – 16

·         Cavalier County – 1

·         Dickey County – 1

·         Eddy County – 2

·         Foster County – 1

  • Grand Forks County – 18
  • Grant County – 1
  • Hettinger County – 1
  • McKenzie County - 3

·         McLean County – 7
·         Morton County – 5

·         Mountrail County – 1

·         Nelson County – 1

·         Ramsey County – 4

·         Ransom County – 1

·         Renville County – 2

·         Richland County – 6

·         Stark County – 9

·         Stutsman County – 5

·         Traill County – 1

·         Ward County – 13

·         Williams County – 21

 

1,509,152 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 392,615 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

49 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 95 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 94,837. This leaves 1,051 active confirmed cases.
