85 new COVID-19 cases, 2 additional deaths
The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,437.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 85 new individuals from 23 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 99,228.
These results were from a pool of 5,268 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.08 percent.
47 of those positives were PCR tests, and 38 were antigen tests.
The cases broken down by county are:
1,622,197 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 401,915 unique individuals have been tested.
39 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 109 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 97,002. This leaves 789 active confirmed cases.
