26 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed, one death

The state health department has confirmed 26 new cases of coronavirus, and one death related to the disease.

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,538.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 26 new individuals from 12 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 111,093.

These results were from a pool of 1,930 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.39 percent.

13 of those positives were PCR tests, and 13 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,093,258 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 451,030 unique individuals have been tested.

Eleven people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 23 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 109,343. This leaves 212 active confirmed cases.
