State health department confirms 162 new cases of COVID-19
162 residents from 24 counties have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 162 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 112,560.
These results were from a pool of 3,037 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.69 percent.
82 of those positives were PCR tests, and 80 were antigen tests.
The cases broken down by county are:
2,132,332 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 456,730 unique individuals have been tested.
23 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 93 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 110,259. This leaves 759 active confirmed cases.
