250 new COVID-19 cases; active cases rising above 1,200

The state health department has confirmed 250 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 250 new individuals from 40 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 113,925.

These results were from a pool of 4,551 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.75 percent.

169 of those positives were PCR tests, and 81 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,159,552 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 461,171 unique individuals have been tested.

41 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 120 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 111,146. This leaves 1,231 active confirmed cases.
