ND COVID-19: 254 new cases, one more related death

The state health department has confirmed the death of one more individual with COVID-19, and 254 new positive cases.

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,549.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 254 new individuals from 38 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 114,179.

These results were from a pool of 5,329 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.01 percent.

169 of those positives were PCR tests, and 85 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,164,833 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 461,706 unique individuals have been tested.

44 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 140 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 111,277. This leaves 1,353 active confirmed cases.
