362 new COVID-19 cases confirmed; active count rising

The state health department has confirmed 362 new cases of COVID-19. There are currently 2,130 active cases statewide.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 362 individuals from 38 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 116,666.

These results were from a pool of 5,457 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.92 percent.

235 of those positives were PCR tests, and 127 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,205,493 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 467,643 unique individuals have been tested.

71 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 257 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 112,976. This leaves 2,130 active confirmed cases.
