ND COVID-19: 1 death confirmed, 535 new cases

The state health department has confirmed 535 new cases of COVID-19, and one related death.

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,562.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 535 individuals from 43 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 118,491.

These results were from a pool of 8,383 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.7 percent.

326 of those positives were PCR tests, and 209 were antigen tests.

The cases broken down by county are:

2,232,613 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 471,634 unique individuals have been tested.

121 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 204 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 114,166. This leaves 2,763 active confirmed cases.
