The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,585.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 493 individuals from 40 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 125,110.
These results were from a pool of 10,146 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.16 percent.
217 of those positives were PCR tests, and 276 were antigen tests.
2,344,159 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 489,625 unique individuals have been tested.
111 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 430 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 120,039. This leaves 3,486 active confirmed cases.
