ND COVID-19: three additional deaths confirmed, 452 new positive cases

North Dakota's death toll is now 1,912.

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,915.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 452 individuals from 43 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 164,539.

These results were from a pool of 6,982 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.01 percent.

212 of those positives were PCR tests, and 240 were antigen tests.

2,913,051 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 546,513 unique individuals have been tested.

163 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 483 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 159,246. This leaves 3,378 active confirmed cases.
