ND COVID-19: 13 deaths confirmed, 565 additional cases found

North Dakota's death toll is now 1,928.

The state health department has confirmed thirteen more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,928.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 565 individuals from 42 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 165,375.

These results were from a pool of 7,512 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.49 percent.

206 of those positives were PCR tests, and 359 were antigen tests.

2,924,007 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 547,905 unique individuals have been tested.

162 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 462 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 160,456. This leaves 2,991 active confirmed cases.
