ND COVID-19: Eleven deaths, 472 cases confirmed

North Dakota's death toll is now 1,939.

The state health department has confirmed eleven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,939.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 472 individuals from 41 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 165,845.

These results were from a pool of 8,447 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.06 percent.

216 of those positives were PCR tests, and 256 were antigen tests.

2,932,457 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 548,792 unique individuals have been tested.

153 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 441 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 160,868. This leaves 3,038 active confirmed cases.
