ND COVID-19: 14 deaths confirmed, 550 cases found
North Dakota's death toll is now 1,962.
The state health department has confirmed fourteen more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,962.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 550 individuals from 36 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 167,818.
These results were from a pool of 7,378 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.07 percent.
163 of those positives were PCR tests, and 387 were antigen tests.
2,967,475 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 551,796 unique individuals have been tested.
163 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 391 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 163,460. This leaves 2,396 active confirmed cases.
