ND COVID-19: 2,124 new cases and three more deaths

North Dakota's death toll has risen to 2,093.

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,093.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 2,124 individuals from 51 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 221,025.

These results were from a pool of 15,282 tests for a daily positive rate of 15.63 percent.

1,114 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,010 were antigen tests.

3,361,966 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 601,138 unique individuals have been tested.

168 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 1,256 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 210,196. This leaves 8,736 active confirmed cases.
