The state health department has confirmed 14 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,107.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,786 individuals from 51 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 225,508.
These results were from a pool of 12,058 tests for a daily positive rate of 16.91 percent.
684 of those positives were PCR tests, and 1,102 were antigen tests.
3,391,193 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 604,667 unique individuals have been tested.
182 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 1,860 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 218,084. This leaves 5,317 active confirmed cases.
