State confirms three more deaths, 474 new COVID-19 cases

North Dakota's death toll is now 2,154.

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,154.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 474 individuals from 38 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 234,675.

These results were from a pool of 5,632 tests for a daily positive rate of 9.61 percent.

265 of those positives were PCR tests, and 209 were antigen tests.

3,476,571 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 612,100 unique individuals have been tested.

118 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 437 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 228,896. This leaves 3,625 active confirmed cases.
