ND COVID-19: 1 death confirmed, 413 new cases found

North Dakota's death toll is now 2,169.

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,169.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 413 individuals from 39 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 236,267.

These results were from a pool of 6,001 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.67 percent.

238 of those positives were PCR tests, and 175 were antigen tests.

3,500,935 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 613,575 unique individuals have been tested.

109 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 408 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 232,245. This leaves 1,853 active confirmed cases.
