The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,180.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 202 individuals from 30 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 237,321.
These results were from a pool of 5,358 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.24 percent.
120 of those positives were PCR tests, and 82 were antigen tests.
3,522,456 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 614,206 unique individuals have been tested.
84 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 211 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 233,852. This leaves 1,289 active confirmed cases.
