ND COVID-19: 3 deaths, 271 new cases confirmed

There are currently 1,251 active cases statewide.

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,183.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 271 individuals from 34 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 237,599.

These results were from a pool of 4,943 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.27 percent.

152 of those positives were PCR tests, and 119 were antigen tests.

3,527,440 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 614,460 unique individuals have been tested.

86 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 169 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 234,165. This leaves 1,251 active confirmed cases.
