Over the last seven days, the state health department has confirmed 246 new cases of COVID-19 statewide.
This averages out to just over 35 new cases per day. According to the department’s coronavirus dashboard, the 7-day case rate per 100,000 residents is 32.
Overall, 59 cases were confirmed in Cass County, 39 in Rolette County and 24 in Ward County.
In the last seven days, 18 new patients have been admitted with COVID-19. Covid patients currently occupy 36 inpatient beds and eight ICU beds statewide.
