ND COVID-19: 1,401 official cases confirmed this week

Officially reported cases are trending downward in recent weeks.

North Dakota’s confirmed reported COVID-19 cases have decreased again this week.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,401 new cases were confirmed statewide in the last seven days. This averages out to about 200 new cases per day. The dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people in the last week is 184.

341 new cases were confirmed in Cass County, 218 in Burleigh County and 145 in Grand Forks County.

In the last seven days, 92 new patients were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19. Currently 96 inpatient beds and 13 ICU beds are occupied with COVID patients.
