14th death; 35 additional COVID-19 cases in ND

A fourteenth person has passed away from complications of COVID-19 in North Dakota.

The patient was a man in his 40s with underlying health conditions. He was from Cass County.

The state health department is also reporting 35 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the state, bringing the statewide total to 679. The cases broken down by county are:

Burleigh County – 2
Cass County – 18
Grand Forks County – 11
Richland County – 1
Stark County – 1
Ward County – 1
Wells County – 1

To date, 15,589 tests for COVID-19 have been administered in North Dakota. 602 were conducted yesterday.

There have been 62 total hospitalizations, with 23 people currently hospitalized.

There have been 229 recoveries. There are 436 active confirmed cases.
