17 more COVID-related deaths confirmed; 226 new cases

The state health department has confirmed 17 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,260.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Woman in her 90s from Barnes County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 60s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 90s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 80s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 80s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 60s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 80s from Grand Forks County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Grand Forks County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Morton County.
  • Man in his 80s from Morton County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ramsey County.
  • Man in his 80s from Stark County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

226 new individuals from 36 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 90,948.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,665 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.71 percent.

 

188 of those tests were PCR tests, and 38 were antigen tests.

1,285,111 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 372,664 unique individuals have been tested.

 

122 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 276 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 87,367. This leaves 2,321 active confirmed cases.
