2 deaths confirmed; 125 new COVID-19 cases

The state health department has confirmed two more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,470.

 

The patients were a man in his 70s from Ward County, and a woman in her 60s from Renville County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 125 new individuals from 24 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 104,488.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,867 tests for a daily positive rate of 3.64 percent.

 

90 of those positives were PCR tests, and 35 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,834,430 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 420,352 unique individuals have been tested.

 

37 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 161 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 101,835. This leaves 1,183 active confirmed cases.
