294 new COVID-19 infections, six additional deaths

The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,276.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Woman in her 80s from Bottineau County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 60s from Rolette County.
  • Woman in her 50s from Ward County.
  • Man in his 60s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Williams County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

294 new individuals from 39 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 91,831.

 

These results were from a pool of 1,530 tests for a daily positive rate of 12.7 percent.

 

178 of those tests were PCR tests, and 116 were antigen tests.

·         Mercer County - 1

·         Morton County – 11

·         Pembina County – 1

·         Pierce County - 3

·         Ramsey County – 8

·         Ransom County – 2

·         Renville County - 3

·         Richland County - 4

·         Rolette County – 7

·         Sargent County - 1

·         Sioux County – 3

·         Slope County - 1

·         Stark County – 9

1,301,140 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 375,085 unique individuals have been tested.

 

115 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 292 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 88,854. This leaves 1,701 active confirmed cases.
