ND COVID-19: 21 dead, 509 new infections

The state health department has confirmed 21 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,225.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Man in his 80s from Barnes County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 70s from Cass County.
  • Woman in her 60s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 60s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 90s from Grand Forks County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 80s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 90s from Kidder County.
  • Woman in her 90s from McHenry County.
  • Woman in her 90s from McLean County.
  • Man in his 90s from McLean County.
  • Woman in her 80s from McLean County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Morton County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Morton County.
  • Man in his 70s from Stark County.
  • Man in his 80s from Stutsman County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.
  • Man in his 80s from Ward County.
  • Man in his 90s from Ward County. 
  • Woman in her 90s from Wells County. 

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

509 new individuals from 44 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 89,557.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,208 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.91 percent.

 

446 of those tests were PCR tests, and 63 were antigen tests.

1,257,587 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 368,092 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

144 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 416 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 85,271. This leaves 3,061 active confirmed cases.
