ND COVID-19: 42 new infections, low trend continues

42 new individuals in nine counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the statewide positive total to 3,166.

The results are from a pool of 4,419 tests for a positive rate of 1 percent.

The cases broken down by county are:

  • Barnes County - 2
  • Burleigh County – 4
  • Cass County – 17
  • Grand Forks County – 4
  • McKenzie County – 1
  • Morton County – 2
  • Sioux County – 3
  • Stutsman County – 8
  • Ward County – 1
     

A total of 140,098 tests have been administered. 89,674 tests have been performed on unique individuals.

25 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. There have been 201 total hospitalizations.

There have been 2,756 recoveries and 74 deaths. This leaves 336 active confirmed cases.
