ND COVID-19: 78th death, 7 new cases

A woman in her 40s from Cass County has passed away with COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 78. She had underlying health conditions.

Additionally, seven new individuals tested positive for the novel coronavirus in North Dakota. The positive results were from a pool of 327 tests for a positive rate of 2.1 percent.

Three of the new positives were from Cass County. Cavalier, Foster, Renville and Ward Counties each had one new case.

A total of 158,526 tests have been completed, with 97,553 being done on unique individuals.

3,320 individuals have tested positive overall.

There are currently 28 people hospitalized with COVID-19. 218 total individuals have been hospitalized.

There have been 3,008 recoveries. This leaves 234 active confirmed cases in the state.
