ND COVID-19: six deaths, 375 new cases

The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,282.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Logan County.
  • Woman in her 100s from McLean County.
  • Woman in her 60s from McLean County.
  • Man in his 60s from Ward County.

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

375 new individuals from 41 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 92,202.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,944 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.74 percent.

 

256 of those positives were PCR tests, and 119 were antigen tests.

·         Mercer County - 6

·         Morton County – 15

·         Mountrail County – 6

·         Nelson County - 2

·         Pierce County - 1

·         Ramsey County – 10

·         Ransom County – 10

·         Renville County - 1

·         Richland County - 12

·         Rolette County – 21

1,343,600 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 376,035 unique individuals have been tested.

 

96 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 219 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 89,099. This leaves 1,821 active confirmed cases.
