ND Health Dept confirms 3 COVID-19 deaths, 55 new cases

The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,515.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 55 new individuals from 16 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 110,098.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,036 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.88 percent.

 

31 of those positives were PCR tests, and 24 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

2,024,693 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 440,841 unique individuals have been tested.

 

26 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 43 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 108,177. This leaves 406 active confirmed cases.
