ND surpasses 100,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 111 new cases, one death

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,448.

 

The patients was a man in his 70s from Ward County.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 111 new individuals from 26 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 100,067.

 

These results were from a pool of 6,950 tests for a daily positive rate of 2.25 percent.

 

51 of those positives were PCR tests, and 60 were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

1,673,674 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 405,571 unique individuals have been tested.

 

20 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 76 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 98,014. This leaves 605 active confirmed cases.
