Ten COVID-19 deaths confirmed as death toll passes 1,200; 381 new infections

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,204.

 

The patients were: 

 

  • Man in his 60s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 70s from McLean County.
  • Man in his 50s from Richland County.
  • Man in his 60s from Richland County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Stark County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Stark County.
  • Man in his 70s from Traill County.
  • Man in his 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 70s from Wells County. 

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

381 new individuals from 37 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 89,064.

 

These results were from a pool of 7,176 tests for a daily positive rate of 4.97 percent.

 

323 of those tests were PCR tests, and 58 were antigen tests.

·        Hettinger County - 1

·        Kidder County - 1

·        LaMoure County – 1

·        Logan County - 1

·        McHenry County – 1

·        McKenzie County - 9

·        McLean County – 2

·        Mercer County - 6

·        Morton County – 14

·        Mountrail County – 4

·        Oliver County – 2

·        Pembina County - 3

·        Ramsey County – 10

·        Richland County - 17

·        Rolette County – 30

·        Sargent County – 2

·        Sheridan County - 1

·        Sioux County – 8

·        Stark County – 2

1,249,383 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 366,669 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

148 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 335 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 84,875. This leaves 2,984 active confirmed cases.
