A fun weekly dart league for beginners and seasoned players to join; while raising awareness and money for those in our area who are battling cancer. We play at various bars, so must be 21 to join. Science on the Rocks is back with a spooky twist!
On October 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, join us and Oscar’s for an immersive night of eerie experiments and hands-on mixology. From bubbling brews to smoky concoctions, discover the science behind your favorite drinks that makes them so delightfully spooky!
Kick off the night with spellbinding demonstrations in molecular gastronomy, featuring:- Spherification tricks- Bubbly brews- Dry ice magic- Smoke effects- and MORE!
Then, step into the cocktail (and mocktail) lab where you’ll shake up your own creation! Recipes and ingredients will be provided—just bring your curiosity (and a steady hand).

The Timeless Traditions Workshop is a hands-on, one hour program held once a month, designed for children and beginner adults eager to explore the practical skills of the 19th-century frontier. Each session introduces a new skill, such as embroidery, quilting, butter-making, leatherworking, drop spindling, 3 Sisters gardening, soapstone carving/whittling (child safe version), dried herb caches, basket weaving, flint knapping, Tipi set up, ink making, paper making/journaling, rag rugs, tin lanterns, Mandan pottery, etc. Participants will learn the history behind the craft, observe a demonstration, and complete a small project using provided supplies.
