The state health department has confirmed twelve more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 686.
The patients were:
- Woman in her 80s from Burleigh County.
- Woman in her 80s from Cass County.
- Woman in her 90s from McHenry County.
- Woman in her 80s from Mountrail County.
- Woman in her 80s from Nelson County.
- Woman in her 90s from Ramsey County.
- Man in his 90s from Ransom County.
- Woman in her 90s from Stutsman County.
- Woman in her 80s from Stutsman County.
- Woman in her 80s from Stutsman County.
- Man in his 80s from Ward County.
- Man in his 90s from Ward County.
1,039 new individuals from 47 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 57,373.
These results were from a pool of 6,098 tests for a daily positive rate of 18.17 percent.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 254 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 411 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 1,967 hospitalizations total.
Since yesterday 212 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 45,031. This leaves 11,656 active confirmed cases.
