1,089 new COVID-19 cases in ND; seven more dead

The state health department has confirmed seven more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 743.

 

The patients were:

 

  • Man in his 90s from Barnes County.
  • Man in his 80s from Eddy County.
  • Man in his 70s from Dickey County.
  • Man in his 70s from Grand Forks County.
  • Man in his 70s from Stark County.
  • Man in his 80s from Stutsman County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Walsh County.  

 
1,089 new individuals from 42 counties have also tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 64,885.

 

These results were from a pool of 8,179 tests for a daily positive rate of 14.18 percent.

1,016,356 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 325,491 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 332 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19, and 400 individuals are hospitalized with the virus. There have been 2,195 hospitalizations total.

 

Since yesterday 933 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 53,242. This leaves 10,900 active confirmed cases.
