ND COVID-19: 1 death, 14 new cases

The state health department has confirmed one more death related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,528.

 

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 14 new individuals from ten counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 110,657.

 

These results were from a pool of 873 tests for a daily positive rate of 1.89 percent.

 

Nine of those positives were PCR tests, and five were antigen tests.

 

The cases broken down by county are:

 

 

 

2,063,373 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 445,954 unique individuals have been tested.

 

13 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 19 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 108,962. This leaves 162 active confirmed cases.
