ND COVID-19: six deaths, 530 additional cases found

The death toll is now 1,867.

The state health department has confirmed six more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,867.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 530 individuals from 42 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 159,842.

These results were from a pool of 8,572 tests for a daily positive rate of 6.52 percent.

245 of those positives were PCR tests, and 285 were antigen tests.

2,845,663 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 542,517 unique individuals have been tested.

176 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 467 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 154,855. This leaves 3,120 active confirmed cases.
