ND Dept of Health: 448 new COVID-19 cases, ten more related deaths

North Dakota's death toll is now 1,990.

The state health department has confirmed ten more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,990.

Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.

According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 448 individuals from 38 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 169,988.

These results were from a pool of 7,139 tests for a daily positive rate of 7.03 percent.

205 of those positives were PCR tests, and 243 were antigen tests.

3,008,705 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 555,842 unique individuals have been tested.

120 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Since yesterday 330 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 165,800. This leaves 2,198 active confirmed cases.
