The state health department has confirmed three more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 2,005.
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed.
According to the state health department’s coronavirus dashboard, 646 individuals from 43 counties have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the new statewide positive total to 172,607.
These results were from a pool of 8,264 tests for a daily positive rate of 8.59 percent.
307 of those positives were PCR tests, and 339 were antigen tests.
3,053,754 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 560,990 unique individuals have been tested.
108 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Since yesterday 655 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 168,699. This leaves 1,903 active confirmed cases.
