The state health department has confirmed 613 new positive COVID-19 cases in the last seven days. This averages out to just over 87 new cases per day statewide.
According to the department’s coronavirus dashboard, new cases are on the rise. Last Friday, the department confirmed 440 new cases had been confirmed that week.
The dashboard indicates North Dakota’s case-rate per 100,000 people as 80.
In the last seven days, 29 new COVID-19 patients were admitted to area hospitals. As of today, 52 inpatient beds and five ICU beds are currently occupied with COVID patients.
