ND COVID-19: 1,880 new cases in past seven days

Cases confirmed by the state health department have remained level this month.

COVID-19 cases officially confirmed by the North Dakota Department of Health have remained level for the last few weeks.

According to the department’s coronavirus dashboard, 1,880 new cases have been confirmed statewide in the last seven days. This amounts to about 268 new cases per day. The dashboard says North Dakota’s case rate per 100,000 people is 247.

440 cases were confirmed in Cass County, 206 in Burleigh County, and 148 in Grand Forks County.

74 North Dakotans were admitted to area hospitals with COVID-19 in the last seven days. Statewide, 72 inpatient beds and eight ICU beds are currently occupied with COVID patients.
