New and active covid cases, hospitalizations and positivity percentage trend downward; 24 more dead

The state health department has confirmed 24 more deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,194.

 

The patients were:

  • Woman in her 80s from Benson County.
  • Man in his 50s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 80s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Burleigh County.
  • Man in his 60s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 60s from Cass County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Cass County.
  • Man in his 70s from Dunn County.
  • Man in his 60s from Eddy County.
  • Man in his 80s from Logan County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Pierce County.
  • Woman in her 40s from Ramsey County.
  • Man in his 60s from Ramsey County.
  • Man in his 80s from Ransom County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Stark County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Stark County.
  • Woman in her 100s from Traill County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 90s from Ward County.
  • Woman in her 80s from Williams County. 

 
Deaths are reported to the state health department by facilities or by official death record, and can take up to ten days to be confirmed. 

 

304 new individuals from 42 counties have tested positive for COVID-19 in North Dakota, bringing the new statewide positive total to 88,686.

 

These results were from a pool of 4,917 tests for a daily positive rate of 5.37 percent.

 

242 of those tests were PCR tests, and 62 were antigen tests.

1,242,239 total tests have been administered for the novel coronavirus. 365,609 unique individuals have been tested. 

 

160 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.

 

Since yesterday 410 individuals have been confirmed as recovered, bringing the recovered total to 84,535. This leaves 2,956 active confirmed cases.
