Grace United Methodist Church at 1120 17th St S, Moorhead, will hold their annual Fall Festival, Saturday, October 10, from 8am-2pm featuring a “pay as you are able” rummage sale, donuts and coffee, crafts, silent auction and bake sale. Serving chili for lunch (free will donation) served 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. 

The Theodore Roosevelt Association's 107th Annual Meeting joins the Theodore Roosevelt Center's 21st Annual Symposium in Medora for the first-ever Theodore Roosevelt Convention, themed "Looking Back, Moving Forward." More than 300 historians, educators, public officials, conservationists, and enthusiasts gather in the Badlands for author panels, keynote addresses, an exhibit hall, and guided tours of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and the country around them. The authors panel brings Candice Millard, Kathleen Dalton, Patricia O'Toole, and Lindsay M. Chervinsky to one stage; Joe Wiegand hosts TR trivia Friday night.

A special photography exhibition featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer David Hume Kennerly. Kennerly was in the pantry of the Ambassador Hotel when Robert Kennedy was shot, photographed the war in Vietnam, and at twenty-nine became Chief Official White House Photographer for President Gerald R. Ford. The exhibition spans sixty years on the front lines of American history, on view during regular Library hours.

Experience an extraordinary story of adventure, endurance, and teamwork with a screening of Expedition: Greenland, a documentary following the first successful south-to-north vehicle crossing of Greenland’s ice sheet.
The film chronicles a team of seven adventurers as they travel 1,400 miles over 21 days through one of the most remote and unforgiving environments on Earth. Following the screening, North Dakota physician and NDSU alumnus Dr. Jon Solberg, a member of the expedition team, will share behind-the-scenes stories and firsthand insights from the journey. The conversation will explore leadership, teamwork, resilience, risk, and decision-making under extreme conditions. Dr. Ann Burnett will moderate the discussion, followed by an audience Q&A.
