Registration is now open for the 29th annual Black Hills Dance Festival.
The premiere dance festival in the region, we welcome people of all abilities and backgrounds to The Monument in Rapid City Apr. 24-26, 2025. From West Coast Swing, Country Swing, Line Dancing, Salsa, Rumba, Foxtrot, and more, dancers of all levels are invited to learn and hone their skills from a cadre of talented professionals brought in exclusively for this event. Learn from professional instructors and dance champions from across the country, including Jack Armstrong, Michael Kiehm, Haley Manning, Adia Nuño, and Tim Perez. They are also available for private lessons.
We’ve got two hotels blocked with discounted rates, each within a short walking distance of The Monument events center.
It’s an all-encompassing weekend filled with dance workshops from a variety of genres, including Swing, Country, Ballroom, Latin, Line Dancing, and more. Students learn from our professional instructors during the workshops and/or one-on-one private lessons, then practice their skills each night during hours of social dancing. America’s largest interactive comedy murder dinner theatre show is now playing! Solve a hilarious mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it!
Join us for an event that is very different from a traditional mystery dinner show. Our actors are not dressed in costume and are hidden in the audience! This results in a fun, social and interactive evening suitable for all adults.
Each ticket includes our signature award-winning mystery dinner theatre show, along with a full plated dinner, waitstaff gratuity, and plenty of surprises during the show.

Central Dakota Children’s Choir Presents“A Celebration of Women’s Voices” featuring Angelica
Angelica, the all-women’s choir of Central Dakota Children’s Choir, will present “A Celebration of Women’s Voices” on Sunday, April 27, at 3:00pm at First Baptist Church, 306 E. Divide Avenue, Bismarck. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at aboutcdcc.org, by calling the office at 258-6516 and at the door. Concert is sponsored by Starion Bank.
Celebrate the unique sound of this talented 34-member high school women’s choir from 8 area public, private, and homeschools, directed by Dr. Dean Jilek and accompanied by David Larson. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a range of choral selections showcasing the beauty and artistry of women’s voices.
